Hi I’m Cal, also known as Liquidesert. I decided to create this site for two reasons 1 - I love music and 2 - I’m starting to really enjoy building websites. Being an electronica musician, and sometimes hip hop and rap beat maker since around 2001, I’ve gathered a pretty big collection of music. Some of the music is used for albums, or upcoming albums, but I wanted to do something with my unfinished material. I thought that loops would be a great way to get some of this unfinished material out into the world. In the beginning I thought that I should sell them. After talking to some potential loopers, I decided that people simply wouldn’t buy them. So, I decided to go with free loops. After searching the web for sites that had free sounds for download, I was a little disappointed. I couldn’t find a site that 1 - was easy to use 2 - had lots of great material. That was when I made the decision to create, which will hopefully be, the best and simplest website on the internet to find free loops. So now you know the story. I really hope you enjoy the sounds to come, and give the artists on the site some props for all their hard work. Thanks!
